The Ninth Circuit ruled today that it would not unseal video recordings of the trial on the constitutionality of California's same-sex marriage ban - -Proposition 8.
The decision was based on then-U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker's promise that the recordings would not be released.
According to the AP: "The 9th Circuit has said it wanted to resolve the public release of the trial videos before it addresses the more substantive issue of whether Walker correctly struck down Proposition 8 on federal constitutional grounds."
